How Depop fees work
United States
- Payment processing: 3.3% of item price + shipping + sales tax + $0.45
- Boost fee (if Boosted listing): 12% of item price + shipping (not with a Depop label)
No selling fee. Payment processing is charged on the total the buyer pays, including shipping and sales tax.
United Kingdom
- Payment processing: 2.9% of item price + shipping + sales tax + £0.30
- Boost fee (if Boosted listing): 12% of item price + shipping (not with a Depop label)
No selling fee. Payment processing is charged on the total the buyer pays, including shipping.
Australia
- Payment processing: 2.6% of item price + shipping + sales tax + A$0.30
- Boost fee (if Boosted listing): 8% of item price + shipping (not with a Depop label)
No selling fee. Payment processing is charged on the total the buyer pays, including shipping.
Other countries
- Selling fee: 10% of item price + shipping (not with a Depop label)
- Boost fee (if Boosted listing): 8% of item price + shipping (not with a Depop label)

How much does Depop take from a $50 sale?
In the US, Depop takes $2.10 in payment processing on a $50 sale with no shipping, so you receive $47.90. If the buyer came from a Boosted listing, fees rise to $8.10 and you receive $41.90.
Does Depop still charge a 10% selling fee?
Not in the US, UK or Australia. Sellers there pay no selling fee, only payment processing. Sellers in other countries still pay a 10% selling fee.
How much is the Depop Boost fee?
12% in the US, 12% in the UK, 8% in Australia and 8% in other countries. It is charged on the item price plus shipping, or on the item price only if you ship with a Depop label.
Does Depop charge fees on shipping and sales tax?
Payment processing does. In the US it is 3.3% + $0.45 of the total the buyer pays, including shipping and sales tax. Enter the shipping and the buyer’s sales tax rate above to include them.
